Fuel prices in Romania saw a slight decrease on November 6, with standard gasoline at 9.87 lei/liter and diesel at 10.86 lei/liter. The cheapest gasoline is in Târgoviște at 9.77 lei/liter, while Eforie Nord offers the lowest diesel at 10.75 lei/liter. Additionally, discussions are underway for farmers to purchase tax-free diesel directly from pumps starting in 2027, as current costs are high. The Minister of Agriculture highlighted the need for a mechanism to facilitate this purchase, noting that current diesel prices are around 11 lei/liter, with taxes between 2.7 and 3 lei per liter.
