NATO has launched a common platform for its 32 member states to acquire anti-drone capabilities more efficiently due to rising drone incidents in Europe. The initiative aims to simplify the procurement process, likened to an 'e-commerce' experience. NATO has received 80 bids and signed contracts with five defense companies, making selected products available for purchase or long-term leasing. These anti-drone solutions include jamming and interceptor drones, with costs ranging from 1.6 million to 25 million euros. At the 2025 Hague summit, NATO states committed to allocate at least 40 billion dollars over five years to enhance their anti-drone capabilities.
