The High Court of Cassation and Justice rejected appeals regarding the Tuzla-Podișor gas pipeline construction authorization, affirming the project's legality. The pipeline, crucial for Romania's energy security, will transport gas from the Neptun Deep offshore field. The court's decision maintains the previous ruling that dismissed Bankwatch Romania's claims due to the expiration of the right to action. The project, valued over 500 million euros, is already operational, with gas production expected to start in 2027.
