The municipality of Timișoara is introducing a new parking fee structure to encourage residents from other areas to relocate and register their vehicles in the city. The proposed changes include a 60% discount for those who meet residency requirements, while the overall parking fees will increase by approximately 40%. The new annual fees for the Resident Subscription will be set at 350 lei for the red zone, 300 lei for the yellow zone, and 250 lei for the blue zone. Residents with registered vehicles will pay significantly reduced rates, close to current fees, despite the overall increase.
