The Brașov City Hall has launched a new digital application for the Municipal Cemetery, allowing visitors to easily locate graves without searching through the cemetery paths. This initiative aims to assist citizens, especially those who visit infrequently or have difficulty finding burial sites. The cemetery, located on Dimitrie Anghel Street, spans approximately 20 hectares and contains around 45,000 graves, with occupancy exceeding 95-98%. Due to this high occupancy, local authorities are exploring options for expansion or new cemetery land.
