Expired, lost, stolen, or damaged identity documents can be replaced before the vote. On November 8, after 2 PM, only document issuance will occur in Sibiu. Residents of Rășinari without valid ID can obtain a new document quickly for the local referendum on November 8, 2026. The measure targets those with invalid IDs. The Sibiu City Hall's Personal Records Department will have extended hours on November 7 and 8, 2026. On November 7, the offices will be open from 8 AM to 4 PM for both applications and document issuance. On the referendum day, November 8, the hours will be from 8 AM to 2 PM for applications and 2 PM to 6 PM for document issuance only.
