Cluj-Napoca has launched Navigator AI, a guide aimed at educating children, parents, and teachers about responsible AI and social media use. Funded by the local budget, the guide helps youth understand AI tools, identify fake news, and develop critical thinking. It is available for free online and will be distributed in physical form, including translations for Hungarian-speaking schools. The project addresses the growing need for digital education as children increasingly use technology from a young age. It covers AI understanding, digital safety, and future skills, emphasizing the importance of responsible technology use without promoting unregulated AI applications.
