USR has proposed a legislative initiative to support young workers earning up to 4,000 lei by providing rental assistance and discounted transportation. The project aims to ease the transition from education to independent living, addressing the financial challenges many young people face. It includes monthly financial aid for rent, varying by location, and a 50% discount on public transport for eligible individuals aged 18 to 29. The initiative targets those with full-time employment and a rental contract of at least six months, excluding those who own property or live in social housing. The support can also extend to part-time workers pursuing accredited education, lasting up to 36 months.
