A refurbished "Săgeata Albastră" train has resumed service on the Bucharest Nord - Henri Coandă Airport route, marking the 45th such train restored by Electroputere VFU Pașcani. This modernization aims to enhance rail transport efficiency and passenger comfort. Gruia Stoica, president of Grampet Group, emphasized the need for continuous investment in rail infrastructure to attract more passengers. The train underwent a comprehensive R9 overhaul, extending its operational life by 12 years and improving safety and reliability. The return of this train is timely, as road traffic on DN1 is congested due to ongoing metro construction, making rail travel a viable alternative for airport access.
