Cristian Pistol, director of CNAIR, reported that construction on the last segment of the A0 highway is 85% complete. If the current pace continues and weather conditions remain favorable, approximately 10 km of the 17.5 km segment from Joița to Corbeanca will open this year, ensuring connections with DN1A and DN7. The remaining 7 km are expected to be operational by April 2027. Additionally, progress on the Buftea bypass has surpassed 65%, with completion of part of this project anticipated by December, facilitating access to DN1A. Pistol emphasized the ongoing development in the Bucharest-Ilfov area, which will enhance economic opportunities.
