The article humorously reimagines Homer's "Odyssey" set in modern-day Bucharest, where Odysseus is a local man returning home after twenty years. His wife, Penelope, faces challenges with numerous suitors occupying their home. Odysseus encounters various characters, including a one-eyed shopkeeper and a witch, while navigating his way back. Ultimately, he returns disguised as a beggar, and after a clever test involving their bed, Penelope recognizes him. The story blends classical elements with contemporary urban life, highlighting the absurdities of modern relationships and societal norms.
