In the first eight months of 2026, Alba County saw a slight decline in tourist arrivals, totaling nearly 183,000, with a 0.9% decrease compared to the previous year. However, foreign tourist numbers increased by 7.1%. August recorded over 41,800 arrivals, ranking fourth in the Central Region. The average stay length slightly increased to 1.80 days. Hotel accommodations were the most popular, with a notable rise in hotel guests compared to last year. Despite the overall decline in tourist numbers, the region's occupancy rate remained below the national average, at 28.7%.
