President Trump claims that any impeachment attempt by Democrats would backfire on their party. He expresses no fear of impeachment despite the Democrats' recent electoral victory. Trump believes such a move would be unjustified and detrimental to the Democratic Party. He is open to collaborating with the new Democratic majority in Congress but emphasizes his veto power. Trump also commented on the midterm elections, suggesting Republicans would have fared better if he had run. He acknowledged factors like the Iran conflict and rising fuel prices contributed to Republican losses but would make the same decisions again. Democrats have already reached out for discussions post-election.
