Brașov is set to host the second winter edition of the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) from February 14 to 21, 2027. Mayor George Scripcaru announced that the Olympic flame will arrive at the foot of Tampa next month, specifically on December 22. The flame, which symbolizes peace, will be lit in Rome and then travel through various locations in Romania before reaching the opening ceremony.
