A study on bureaucratic reduction in schools is being conducted by the Institute of Educational Sciences, focusing on administrative burdens faced by teachers. The results, expected by the end of this year or early next year, aim to identify and simplify unnecessary tasks. The Minister of Education, Sorin Costreie, emphasized the importance of understanding the sources of these burdens, which may stem from various institutional requirements. The study includes focus groups with teachers and interviews with school directors, followed by a quantitative survey involving 180 educational units. Costreie highlighted that reducing paperwork could free up valuable time for teachers to focus on their students.
