Greek group PPC has confirmed the acquisition of Romanian retailer Flanco through its subsidiary Kotsovolos for €35 million. Flanco operates 150 stores across Romania and has around 1,200 employees with an annual turnover of €269 million. This acquisition aligns with PPC's strategy to expand in Romania and integrate electronic and appliance retail into its energy operations. PPC Romania plans to offer energy solutions through Flanco stores, including solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations. The deal will be financed from Kotsovolos's own funds and is expected to finalize by the end of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
