PepsiCo introduces a sugar-free maple-flavored Pepsi for Burger King customers in Romania, Poland, and the Czech Republic, available for a limited time. The company has also announced an $8.5 million investment in a new canning line at its Dragomirești plant, which will enhance production capacity. By the end of 2023, PepsiCo plans to invest an additional $13 million for a new production line, allowing the facility to bottle up to 1.5 million cans daily. The plant now has seven production lines and an annual capacity exceeding 500 million liters, with a significant portion allocated for export. PepsiCo Romania has localized over 95% of its product portfolio for the Romanian market, having invested $320 million in the country over the past decade.
