Tens of thousands of retirees have sued the Pension House due to recalculation errors, with over 30% winning their cases. The new pension law, intended to address inequalities, has led to widespread dissatisfaction. Nearly 62,000 lawsuits have been filed since its implementation, with 6,028 retirees already victorious, proving their pensions were incorrectly recalculated. Common grievances include incorrect recalculation amounts, CASS deductions, lack of pension point increases, and unrecognized work periods. The pension calculation for 2026 will depend on years of contribution and income, with a reference point value of 81 lei, leading to varying pension amounts for individuals with the same contribution years.
