Sherrill stated that importing Russian diesel would finance Russia's war against Ukraine and would not lower fuel prices in the U.S. She criticized Trump's deal with Russia, highlighting the ongoing hostility with Iran and asserting that Trump lacks the authority to lift sanctions imposed after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. New Jersey will use all legal means to protect its infrastructure from being exploited for contrary interests.
