A fire broke out in a Târgu Mureș apartment, resulting in the death of an 85-year-old resident found in cardiac arrest. Firefighters responded with multiple vehicles and extinguished the flames originating from the victim's bed. Despite immediate resuscitation efforts, the elderly man was pronounced dead at the scene. Other residents were not evacuated, and firefighters ventilated the area to clear smoke.
