Szocs, ranked 21st in the world, won in straight sets, showcasing her ability to control crucial moments. This victory serves as revenge for her earlier loss to Peng in February 2026. Szocs will face the winner of the match between Japanese players Satsuki Odo and Hitomi Sato in the next round.
