Police conducted three searches in Sibiu and Bucharest as part of Operation JUPITER, targeting the couple who managed a company. They are accused of failing to pay withheld taxes on time between March 2022 and January 2025. Investigators claim they used a method known as 'company factory' to complicate debt recovery by fictitiously transferring company shares. Authorities have seized assets, including a property and two cars, and collected accounting documents and electronic data storage devices for further investigation.
