The Minister of Development, Alexandru Stoica, announced the inauguration of a natural gas network in Luncavița, Tulcea, which will connect around 2,000 households. The project, funded by the "Anghel Saligny" program, cost 23.4 million lei and spans approximately 35 kilometers. Residents expressed their eagerness to switch from wood heating to gas systems, hoping to install gas boilers soon. Stoica highlighted the importance of expanding energy infrastructure in Romania, where only about 44% of households are connected to gas networks. The project aims to improve living conditions and attract investments in the area.
