Romania's Prime Minister Luca Niculescu announced that gas reserves are nearly 90%, ensuring energy supply security for winter. The government will extend the voucher system for vulnerable consumers and is continuously assessing measures to protect them. Discussions are ongoing with the Ministers of Energy and Finance. The National Energy Committee will be convened soon to enhance energy supply security. Niculescu expressed optimism about the situation at the Mintia and Cernavodă power plants, noting improvements in water flow due to recent rains, which may allow for the Cernavodă plant to restart soon.
