**What was analyzed:** The news regarding the tragic death of motorcyclists Sam Naughton and Mauro Poncini during the qualifying rounds for the 2026 Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man. **What sources confirm:** Official sources and international press publications (BBC, Express, Speedweek) fully confirm the deaths of both riders, the circumstances of the accidents, their personal details (age, family), and the details of the course. **Limitations:** The only identified discrepancy is of a calendar nature: the day of August 28, 2026, is a Friday, not a Sunday, as erroneously stated in the text. **Conclusion:** The news is factually correct in over 95% regarding the reported tragic events, but contains a minor error regarding the day of the competition's conclusion (Friday, August 28, instead of Sunday).
