Recommended next steps
- Consult the official website of the Romanian Ministry of National Defense for statements regarding drone interception procedures.
- Search national press for details about the incident in Galați mentioned in the text to verify the veracity of the injuries to the two citizens.
Analysis limitations
- Lack of publicly accessible official documents detailing the exact procedures for sharing military engagement decisions between NATO and Romanian authorities.
- Absence of official reports or credible media confirmations regarding an incident involving two NATO citizens hit in Galați.
- A secondary claim remains problematic and is not covered by the overall verdict: 'The decision regarding military engagement in the case of aerial incidents is made at the national level.'
- Presentation of official NATO or Ministry of National Defense documents attesting to the coordination and decision-making procedures in the case of aerial incidents in Romania.
- Official reports, press releases from local authorities, or journalistic investigations confirming the incident mentioned in Galați.
- Official documents detailing the real-time alert mechanisms used by NATO in the region.
