**What was analyzed:** Claims regarding the initiation of negotiations by diplomat Luca Niculescu (the fourth prime minister designated by Nicușor Dan after the fall of the Bolojan Government) with parliamentary parties (PSD, PNL, UDMR), the schedule of meetings, the constitutional framework, and the reactions of the parties. **What sources confirm:** National and international press sources (Agerpres, Deutsche Welle, Mediafax, News.ro, Bursa) fully confirm the appointment of Luca Niculescu on October 5, 2026, the schedule of meetings at the party headquarters, the history of previous failures (Tomac, Veștea, Mureșan), and the positions expressed by political leaders. **Limitations:** There are no major limitations regarding the factuality of the reporting of events from October 5-8, 2026. **Conclusion:** The reporting is factually correct and fully corresponds to the political developments documented by the reference press.
