Povestea lui Cosmin Pauliuc, tânărul om de știință, care a inventat "pielea artificială". Doctorandul de la Politehnica București revoluționează domeniul bioingineriei

Cosmin Pauliuc, a PhD student, has developed an innovative material called 'artificial skin' that could transform modern medicine. This prototype aims to assist patients with severe skin injuries and those using electronic prosthetics by mimicking human skin's tactile sensations. Awarded at Poly Chemistry Fest 2026, the material is a flexible hydrogel that reacts to pressure and can 'feel pain'. While promising, further testing and significant investment are needed before it can be commercialized. Pauliuc remains committed to advancing science in Romania, despite opportunities abroad.
