„Doctorul Banilor” vrea ca Venezuela să renunțe la bolivar și să adopte dolarul american: „Cea mai mare schimbare de la apariția euro”

Venezuela may fully adopt the US dollar to combat its 400% inflation, according to economist Steve Hanke. He believes this move could stabilize the economy and attract significant investments, particularly in the oil sector. Hanke, known as the 'Doctor of Money', has previously advised other countries on managing inflation through currency strategies. He argues that eliminating the bolivar and the central bank would prevent further inflation caused by excessive money printing. Despite challenges, including the potential loss of a central bank, Hanke estimates a 50%-80% chance of dollarization being approved. The current economic situation already sees widespread use of dollars among consumers, indicating a shift may be feasible.
