55 de persoane aflate sub interdicție își vor pierde mandatul sau funcția, potrivit Agenției Naționale de Integritate
The National Integrity Agency is implementing new legal provisions to enforce integrity bans effectively. The recent law emphasizes the importance of adhering to these bans and ensuring real consequences for public officials found in conflict of interest or incompatible situations. Previously, financial penalties were minimal, but now the focus is on actual compliance with bans, which may lead to the termination of public mandates. The Agency has identified 55 individuals in violation of these new rules, including mayors and local councilors. The law also introduces stricter penalties for non-compliance, reinforcing the integrity framework in Romania.
