Students from the University of Dunărea de Jos in Galați presented the DRAGO project, a road surveillance system utilizing drones and radar technology. This innovative system aims to monitor roads continuously, potentially covering a radius of 200-300 km. The project is designed to be more cost-effective than traditional helicopter surveillance, with estimated costs between 20,000 and 30,000 euros per county. The students believe that their project could significantly improve road safety and attract interest from authorities.
