Over 450 people gathered outside the Central Arrest facility in the capital, expressing their discontent over the situation. Many chanted his name, hoping for his release. The protests began even before his incarceration, showing strong support from his fans. Georgescu was arrested on September 29 as prosecutors investigate him for forming an organized criminal group and serious fraud.
