Ziua Marinei Române 2026. Peste 3.500 de militari și zeci de nave

Romania celebrates Navy Day on August 15, marking 124 years since its first celebration in 1902. Events are held in several cities, with a focus on Constanta, where over 3,500 military personnel participate in naval exercises. The program includes maritime and aerial demonstrations, culminating in a torch-lit retreat by sailors. Other cities like Mangalia, Braila, Tulcea, Galati, and Bucharest also host ceremonies and activities. The day honors both military and civilian sailors, coinciding with the Feast of the Assumption, a traditional protector of mariners.
