The boulevard is now one-way, causing significant delays. Drivers reported taking over an hour to travel just one kilometer, with alternative routes also congested. The ongoing works aim to modernize the tram line and replace an old water distribution pipe. Authorities estimate the tram line project will be completed by the end of next year, while the water pipe replacement is expected to finish by the end of this year. Until then, the metro remains the fastest option for reaching the northern area of the city.
