Zina Dumitrescu, datorii de 17.000 de euro la azilul din Ghermănești: ”Nimeni din familia ei nu i-a mai plătit taxele”

Zina Dumitrescu, known as "Mama Zina," passed away seven years ago, leaving behind significant debts unpaid by her family. She lived her final years in a nursing home where her son rarely visited and did not cover her expenses. The director of the facility, Ion Cassian, shared that her fees had not been paid for about three years before her death, totaling around 17,000 euros. Cassian had a close relationship with Dumitrescu and made efforts to brighten her last days. In her memory, he erected a memorial in the nursing home’s courtyard. Dumitrescu died on March 28, 2019, after battling Alzheimer’s, with Cassian by her side during her final moments.
