The Bucharest Court of Appeal is reviewing PNL's appeal against a decision to suspend the extraordinary Congress that elected Ilie Bolojan's team. This is the first of three appeals PNL has filed against rulings favoring the anti-Bolojan faction. The anti-Bolojan group has won three preliminary injunctions, including one that suspended the Congress scheduled for June 21. The court's decision today will be definitive but provisional until the case is fully adjudicated. PNL's leadership has responded by removing leaders from six party branches in light of the court's rulings.
