Zelenski: „Sunt pregătit să organizez alegeri chiar și mâine”, dar războiul face acest lucru imposibil

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated he is ready to hold elections immediately, but ongoing war conditions make this impossible. He highlighted constitutional and electoral law issues, security risks, and the challenges of voting for Ukrainians abroad and in occupied territories. Zelensky emphasized that peace should be the primary goal during wartime, dismissing calls for elections from some officials as misguided. He reiterated that the focus should be on survival and daily life for citizens, rather than political processes. Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov had previously called for elections, arguing that Russia should not dictate Ukraine's political timeline.
