Zelensky pointed out the difficulties of voting for citizens abroad and in occupied territories, questioning how elections could be conducted under such conditions. He reiterated that peace should be the priority during wartime, dismissing calls for immediate elections as misguided. Zelensky also mentioned previous proposals for a ceasefire to facilitate elections, which Russia has rejected.
