Zelenski anunță acorduri de 1 miliard de euro la summitul „Carpathian 8″

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that trade and investment agreements worth 1 billion euros will be signed at the "Carpathian 8" summit. This initiative includes Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, and Serbia. Zelensky highlighted the participation of around 550 business representatives and the presentation of nearly 100 business projects valued at approximately 40 billion euros. He emphasized the potential for economic growth in the Carpathian macroregion to exceed the EU average. Romanian President Nicușor Dan also attended, focusing on enhancing regional cooperation and supporting the local Romanian minority. Additionally, Ursula Von der Leyen announced 3.3 billion euros in defense funding for Ukraine.
