Ihor Klimenko is proposed as the new Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. Umerov, previously the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, faced allegations related to a corruption case involving businessman Timur Mindich. Umerov denied any influence during his tenure as Defense Minister, stating that a contract for bulletproof vests was canceled due to quality concerns. He has been trusted by Zelensky for sensitive diplomatic missions since the Russian invasion.
