On Wednesday, twelve wildfires affected approximately 38 hectares in Bihor, with significant damage in Tărcăița forest. The fires occurred during a red heat alert, exacerbated by high temperatures and dry vegetation. Firefighters managed to control the flames after over 24 hours of effort, preventing further damage to nearby properties. The main causes of these fires were identified as open flames and careless cigarette disposal. ISU Crișana reported handling 51 emergency situations that day, including 13 fire-related interventions.
