Approximately 70 unexploded munitions were found in a forest in Iași County, prompting a response from the local bomb disposal team. The team identified various types of munitions, including projectiles and grenades, and cleared about 1,000 square meters of land. The munitions were safely transported for storage and destruction. Since the beginning of October 2026, the team has conducted 182 missions, recovering over 3,470 munitions. Authorities advise the public to avoid touching such objects and to report them immediately.
