Zeci de atacuri cu incendieri coordonate au avut loc în sudul Thailandei, în provinciile de frontieră / Rebelii din regiunea cu majoritate musulmană luptă de mai mulți ani pentru o autonomie sporită

In southern Thailand, over 50 arson attacks occurred, injuring at least two people. The incidents targeted local government buildings and other properties. Most attacks were reported in Narathiwat province, with additional incidents in Yala and Pattani. Authorities declared a nighttime state of emergency in Narathiwat, which was lifted the next morning. The ongoing insurgency, primarily led by the Barisan Revolusi Nasional, has resulted in over 7,000 deaths since 2004. Recent peace talks have stalled due to government changes and internal divisions. The Thai Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the region next week to address security and investment issues.
