Several individuals were fined during an unauthorized protest outside the Central Arrest facility in support of Călin Georgescu. Authorities are considering transferring him to Rahova Prison. The protest, which began on September 29, did not follow legal procedures for public gatherings. The General Directorate of Gendarmerie of Bucharest reported that 50 fines totaling 51,800 lei were issued for violations of public order laws. Additionally, two criminal complaints were filed for the illegal use of dangerous objects and assault. A 59-year-old man was detained for violence against a gendarme. Protesters demand Georgescu's release, who is under investigation for forming an organized criminal group and serious fraud.
