Belgian cyclist Wout van Aert won the 15th stage of the Vuelta a España, shortened due to extreme heat. He finished ahead of Lorenzo Romele and Thibau Nys after a successful breakaway. This victory marks his second in the current edition, following his win in stage 13. The stage was reduced from 189.7 to 110.2 kilometers to protect the riders' health. Despite the changes, the stage remained challenging, with significant climbs. Overall leader Enric Mas maintained his position, finishing in the main group, preserving his red jersey and a 2-minute lead over Felix Gall. A rest day follows before stage 16 resumes the competition.
