Employers using the WorkinRomania platform are currently unable to complete registration and authorization procedures for work visas due to a court ruling. The Bucharest Court of Appeal suspended the order regarding the list of shortage occupations, hindering necessary verifications for application approvals. The Ministry of Labor is working with the Ministry of Internal Affairs to address the situation and ensure continuity for affected employers and individuals. The WorkinRomania platform, launched in August, aims to facilitate the integration of immigrant workers into the local labor market.
