Bucharest City Hall has begun securing the apartment building in Rahova following a deadly explosion, with support pillars installed and monitoring in place. The municipality confirmed that all necessary preparations for the construction work were completed on time. The explosion, which occurred on October 17, 2025, resulted in three fatalities and numerous injuries. Arrests related to the incident were made in late October, and the municipality has provided accommodation for displaced residents, covering significant rental costs.
