Wizz Air alege Polonia în detrimentul României pentru noul centru de instruire

Wizz Air has decided to build its new pilot training center in Poland instead of Romania, despite Romania being the airline's largest market. The Hungarian press views this as a missed opportunity for Romania. Wizz Air has not disclosed the reasons for its choice, citing commercial confidentiality. The new center will be the airline's third training facility, following those in Budapest and Rome. Wizz Air has made significant investments in its training centers, with over 30 million euros in Budapest and 38 million euros in Rome. The airline currently employs 8,450 staff, including 1,250 pilots, with plans to increase this number significantly by 2032. Romania holds a 51% market share for Wizz Air, the highest among its markets.
