WhatsApp is testing a new feature that allows users to schedule messages for a specific date and time on Android. This option, currently in beta, enables the scheduling of texts, links, photos, and videos in both individual and group chats. Messages are sent automatically at the chosen time, even if the app is closed or the phone is offline. Users can schedule messages from 10 minutes to two weeks in advance, and they can manage scheduled messages from a dedicated section in the chat. The feature is gradually rolling out and is expected to be available to more users soon.
