Weekend prelungit pentru elevi: nu vor merge la cursuri luni, 5 octombrie, de Ziua Mondială a Educaţiei

Students and teachers will not attend classes on Monday, October 5, in observance of World Teachers' Day. This day is recognized as a non-working holiday in the education system, as per the collective labor agreement. Established in 1994 by UNESCO, it commemorates the signing of the 1966 recommendation regarding the status of teachers. This recommendation, along with the one on higher education from 1997, serves as a global framework for teachers' rights and responsibilities. In Romania, World Teachers' Day has been distinguished from Teacher's Day, celebrated on June 5, since 2013.
